My path in the healing arts has been an integrative study of various
modalities. After studying human development at Virginia Tech, I became
an Aesthetician (clinical skin care).  I attended American Spirit Institute of
Natural Aesthetics in Williamsburg, VA, in 1999.  While practicing facials, I
discovered that I have a natural touch.  My interest led me to Massage
Therapy to further my education.  I graduated from the American Institute
of Massage Therapy and Bodyworks in Richmond, VA, in 2001.  My
training consisted of Shiatsu, Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger Point
Therapy, Pre and Post-Event Sports Massage, Pregnancy Massage, Infant
Massage, Geriatric Massage, Reflexology, Feldenkrais, Cranio-sacral
Therapy, and Energy Healing.  I also received my first degree Reiki
attunement, while attending school.  Immediately following graduation, I
received my second degree Reiki attunement.  After a few years of
practicing Reiki and Massage Therapy, I became a Reiki Master.  The
mastership allows me to teach Reiki to others. Reiki is the most profound
relaxation technique I have experienced personally.  This relaxed state
allows the body to heal itself.  Reiki works on three levels; mind, body, and
spirit.  I am grateful to have witnessed many miracles of healing!

Healing is an art form, and I find that my style is an eclectic blend.  I am
extremely intuitive, and I listen to the body speak.  I customize specific
treatments that are developed to meet each individual’s needs.  Every
person is unique, and has different needs depending on where one is on
their journey.  Our needs can change on a daily basis.  It is my intention to
address the issues at hand with the best modality possible.  My passion is
to heal the world, one body at a time!

Namaste,
